My approach

The plan for creating or developing a garden must match a client's needs, but since the garden might last longer on site than a client, it should also be considered to form an entity with the house.

A well-formulated structure for the garden will not only provide visual interest in its own right, but will also allow an opportunity for a variety of planting approaches. The plan should allow for the inevitability of change.
